Australia to keep ‘close eye’ on China

Prime Minister Scott Morrison says Australia “always be keeping a close eye” on China when asked on concerns of a Chinese warship skirting the coast of Western Australia.

It comes after the defence minister reported a Chinese warship with intelligence-gathering capability stalking the coast of WA.

Mr Dutton labelled the warship skirting the WA coast as an “act of aggression”.
