Assistant Treasurer Stephen Jones has called on Opposition Leader Peter Dutton to get behind the tax cut changes.
Mr Jones’ comments come as the Albanese government announced changes to the stage three tax cuts, which are set to take effect in June.
“I call again on Peter Dutton, on Sussan Ley, on David Littleproud do the right thing by those electorates,” Mr Jones told Sky News Australia.
“I can’t see by the life of me why they aren’t backing these.
“Because the majority of their constituents get more money out of it.”
