Joe Biden is pushing for new economic sanctions on Iran in addition to possible military action following the deadly drone attack in Jordan.
Iran-backed militia launched an attack on a US base near the Jordan-Syria border, killing three American soldiers and injuring dozens.
The US President says he has decided how the nation will respond but has declined to provide further detail.
Biden says his main focus is on Iran but has maintained he isn’t looking for a broader conflict in the Middle East.
“I do hold them responsible in the sense that they’re supplying the weapons to the people who did it,” he said.
