‘Is the NDIS costing us too much?’: Scheme to hit ‘almost $100 billion’ in a decade

Sky News host Danica De Giorgio NDIS is likely to reach around $100 billion in costs within a decade and will soon “outstrip” defence spending.

“To the national disability insurance scheme and claims it is out of control,” Ms De Giorgio said.

“Some people on the NDIS are receiving as much as $2 million worth of services every year.

“That’s just for an individual.

“At the current rate the cost of the NDIS will reach almost $100 billion within a decade – it will soon outstrip defence.”
