Retired NSW Police sergeant Glenn Gorick has praised Taylor Swift for “leading from the front” in promoting female empowerment.
The 14-time Grammy winner will perform the first show of the Australian leg of her Eras tour on Friday in Melbourne.
She will perform in front of a personal record-setting crowd of 85,000 fans on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the MCG.
“She has taken not only her music career by storm but her business career, her asset career,” Mr Gorick told Sky News host Erin Molan.
“She is leading the way, and it shows that just a country-western singer … can just take over the world.”
