Satirist and Commentator Konstantin Kisin says the West is in a “very dangerous place” as sections of both the Left and Right are “losing faith” in democracy.
Mr Kisin pointed out the housing crisis is a critical issue among young people in Australia and the UK.
“I keep saying to people including my friends on the conservative side of things if you don’t fix this … why would young people support democracy,” he told Sky News Outsiders.
“I think one of the reasons frankly that there are sections of both Left and Right that are increasingly enamoured with tyrannical and authoritarian foreign regimes like Putin’s Russia, is because they’re losing faith in democracy.
“We are in a very dangerous place.”
